BEFORE
The existing floor was uneven and offered no static-discharge protection — a risk for sensitive electronics assembly where even a small electrostatic discharge can damage components.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface preparation is one of the most important factors for the success of an epoxy floor. Floor In uses the best and latest diamond grinding machines to achieve the required surface profile and maximum adhesion for the anti-static system.
MOISTURE LEVEL
Surface moisture is measured before implementation using calibrated measuring devices so that it does not exceed 4%. This ensures proper curing and long-term adhesion of the anti-static epoxy system.
PRIMER
A layer of epoxy primer was applied to increase and strengthen the cohesion of the concrete surface. The primer is one of the most important steps in implementing epoxy floors — it seals the substrate and creates a strong, continuous bond for the conductive layers above.
PUTTY
A layer of epoxy putty was applied to level the concrete surface, prepare the floors for finishing, and treat any worn or damaged parts — resulting in a smooth, uniform substrate across the entire installation area.
FINISHING
The floors were completely finished with anti-static coating epoxy in the customer's preferred black color. The 2mm system provides a smooth, seamless, conductive surface that protects sensitive electronics during assembly and is easy to clean and maintain.
AFTER
The completed 2mm anti-static epoxy floor delivers a smooth, seamless and conductive surface that is easy to clean and maintain — protecting PRIMA ELIOS's electronics during precision assembly.
